Katazome Bandana (Chrysanthemum & Arabesque, two-tone)
Large bandana made of “katazome,” a vintage textile from Japan.
This pure indigo textile, found in a small town in Nagano, Japan, has chrysanthemum and arabesque patterns printed with “katazome,” a traditional stencil dye technique. The vintage cotton fabric is about fifty years old, was once part of a kimono dress, and has a gauze-like softness. We designed the large bandana with selvegde edges left on two sides. Great accent for your daily look.
Only 2 available. Both has minor holes and mended with sashiko threads.
